Go west on I-8 until the freeway ends (about 1.8 miles past the I-5 interchange).
Follow signs to Sunset Cliffs Blvd. and keep right to avoid Nimitz Blvd.
After about 0.6 miles, turn left (east) on Voltaire Street.
Continue east on Voltaire Street until you reach the library (3701 Voltaire Street).
The library occupies most of the block on the right side of Voltaire Street, from Worden Street to Poinsettia Drive.
Park in the parking lot next to the library on Voltaire Street or, at the corner past the library, turn right onto Poinsettia Drive, right again onto Udall Street, and enter the upper parking lot from the back.
The Community Room extends along Poinsettia Drive, and can be easily reached by walking from the parking lot(s) along the back of the library. There are two sets of double doors leading into the Community Room. The library will be open, so please use your best library quiet voice :-)
The reception will follow the ceremony, at the home of Ross & Nancy Stockwell.
1419 Chalcedony Street, San Diego, CA 92109
Starting from the library, go northwest on Voltaire Street (past Worden Street), until you reach the Sunset Cliffs Blvd. intersection.
Turn right onto Sunset Cliffs Blvd., and go about 0.9 miles. Keep left to stay on Sunset Cliffs Blvd. and avoid Nimitz Blvd. and the I-8 entrance.
Sunset Cliffs Blvd. will curve right and become Sea World Drive. Proceed on Sea World Drive for about 0.2 miles.
Take the right-hand ramp down to West Mission Bay Drive and go about 0.5 miles on West Mission Bay Drive.
West Mission Bay Drive becomes Ingraham Street. Continue about 2.8 miles, crossing the bay on two bridges.
Continue on Ingraham Street. The fifth intersection past Garnet Avenue is Chalcedony Street. Turn left on Chalcedony Street and drive about one and a half blocks, crossing Haines Street.
The Stockwell residence is at 1419 Chalcedony Street (on the left), between Haines Street and Gresham Street.
Parking is likely to to be scarce, but there are usually spaces on Haines & Gresham.
